Storyline

People who are stuck in between two worlds, wavering in choices and whose lives are in between the upper and the nether millstone.

Having gone abroad many years ago, an idealist teacher Selim decides to return home from his last stop Syria. He makes this decision because of the civil war there. He feels obligated to do a favor to his favorite student Ali and his mother Sahra at the custom control. Selim, crossing the border to Turkey with Ali and Sahra are awaited impatiently at home. The one who longs for him the most is Aslı who’s been looking forward to meeting him for years to get married. However, her inevitable fate is far beyond her expectation and nothing seems to be like what she thinks.
